We understand that Achgwen is seeking prayer and support for multiple areas, including finances, spiritual awakening, and personal struggles. Let us address these concerns with the wisdom and guidance found in the Word of God.
Firstly, concerning the financial situation and entering the kingdom of God, we are reminded of Jesus' words in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." Our focus should be on the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, trusting that He will provide for our needs.
Regarding the plea for Jus not to attempt suicide and to have joy instead, we turn to Philippians 4:4-7, which encourages us, "Rejoice in the Lord always! Again I will say, Rejoice... Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Let us pray for Jus to find this peace and joy in the Lord.
For the ministers GS, JE, DA, and C, we pray for a contrite spirit and a broken heart, as spoken of in Psalm 51:17, "The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit. A broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise." We also pray for them to overcome and eat from the Tree of Life, as promised in Revelation 2:7.
Achgwen also mentions the desire to enter the Kingdom of God and live in His righteousness. Romans 6:11 reminds us, "Even so consider yourselves also dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord." We pray for a true understanding and application of this verse in their lives.
Concerning the request to rely on God's indignation and to give up all anger, we turn to Ephesians 4:31-32, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."
For the desire to walk in love towards everyone with regeneration, miracles, and healing, we pray according to 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, which describes love as patient, kind, not envious, not boastful, not arrogant, not rude, not seeking its own way, not irritable, not keeping a record of wrongs, not rejoicing in unrighteousness, but rejoicing with the truth, bearing all things, believing all things, hoping all things, and enduring all things.
For JE's job situation, we pray according to Colossians 3:23-24, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."
Finally, we note that the request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God, as Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved."
**Let us pray:**
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Achgwen and their concerns. We pray for divine provision and a focus on Your Kingdom and righteousness. We plead for Jus, that they may find joy and peace in You, Lord. We intercede for the ministers, that they may have a contrite spirit and overcome through Your power. We ask for a true understanding of what it means to be dead to sin and alive in Christ. We pray for anger to be replaced with love and kindness, and for JE to find fulfillment in the work You have prepared for them. Above all, Lord, we pray that all involved may come to know and trust in the saving name of Jesus Christ. It is in His precious name we pray, Amen.
In all these things, let us continually strive to align our lives with the Word of God, trusting in His goodness and mercy.
