We are truly saddened to hear about the trials you are facing, and we are here to pray and provide biblical guidance with you. Firstly, it's important to remember that God is our provider and protector. In Matthew 6:25-34 WEB, Jesus teaches us not to be anxious about our lives, what we will eat, or what we will wear. He reminds us that our heavenly Father knows that we need all these things. Instead, we are to seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to us as well.
However, we must also address that the Bible clearly states the dangers of debt and how it can have a hold on our lives. In Proverbs 22:7 WEB, "The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender." The Bible also warns us about the love of money being a root of all kinds of evil in 1Timothy 6:10 WEB. So, while we pray for provision, we also pray for contentment and wisdom in managing finances according to biblical principles.
Regarding the harm and injustice you're experiencing, we are called to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44 WEB). Vengeance is not ours to take, but God's. In Romans 12:19 WEB, it is written, "Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance is mine; I will repay, says the Lord.'"
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is in need of Your financial provision and protection. Lord, You know the struggles they face with debt and the harassment they endure from their neighbors. We pray for Your divine intervention, that You would provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19 WEB). We ask that You would guide them in managing their finances wisely and in a way that honors You.
We also pray for Your protection over their life and their pets. We ask that You would surround them with Your angels and keep them safe from all harm and danger (Psalm 91 WEB). We pray for Your justice to prevail, and for Your grace to be poured out on those who are causing harm, that they may repent and turn to You.
Lastly, Father, we pray for spiritual strength and comfort for our brother/sister. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). Give them peace and contentment that can only come from You.
We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
The psalmist said "I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread" Psalm 37:25 WEB. Be encouraged and trust in the Lord.
