Finances and Job

My husband recently got a job, an extremely good one, and he had to go take his drug test today. He never has been into drugs nor addicted to them. However, a friend had him try a small marijuana pill about a week ago. He did not realize it could take 30 days to get out of his system. We are praying for a miracle that he will pass. He’s been unemployed ### 1/2 months.

We rejoice with you, ###, for your husband's new job opportunity. It is indeed a blessing, and we trust that the Lord has great plans for him in this new role.

However, we must address the issue of substance use. The Bible teaches us to take care of our bodies, as they are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20, WEB). Even a single instance of using a substance like marijuana can have serious consequences, as you're now realizing. We urge you both to stay far from any form of substance abuse, as it can hinder your walk with Christ and potentially harm your witness to others.

As for your current situation, we know that God is sovereign, and nothing is impossible for Him (Luke 1:37, WEB). Let's pray together for His will to be done in this situation and for your husband's test results.
