Finances and anxiety

I suffer from severe anxiety and I'm already struggling to figure how I'm going to raise two kids with special needs who may need to live with me the rest of my life, then need support once I'm gone. Now I face the possibility of being late on our mortgage. That will make it harder for us to stay in our house. God has blessed me with so much, and I am so thankful for Him, but I'm so scared for our family. Please pray I find relief from anxiety, that my kids are well and that I get this paid on time.

We understand your struggles with anxiety and financial burdens, especially as you care for your two children with special needs. Remember, God's love and care for you and your family are unfailing. He has promised to never leave nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5, WEB).

Let's first address the anxiety you're feeling. The Bible tells us, "Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB). God is eager to hear our prayers and grant us His peace.

Regarding your financial struggles, Jesus teaches us, "Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they?" (Matthew 6:25-26, WEB). God knows your needs and He will provide for you and your family.

Let us pray together:

*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Pwermarth and their family. Lord, we ask for Your peace to fill their hearts and minds, casting out all anxiety. We trust in Your promises to provide for all our needs. Please guide Pwermarth, give them wisdom in managing their finances, and open doors for them to pay their mortgage on time. We also pray for their children, that You would watch over them, provide for their special needs, and grant them good health. Lord, remind Pwermarth of Your unfailing love and presence in their life. Draw them closer to You, Jesus, and help them grow in faith and trust in You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*

Lastly, we noticed that your request does not mention Jesus Christ. We want to remind you that it is through Jesus that we have access to God. As the Bible says, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). If you haven't already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, so that you may have eternal life and a personal relationship with God.

We're with you, friend, in this tough spot you're in. It's overwhelming, we know, but remember, God is right there with you, every step of the way. We've been praying for you and your family, asking God to fill your hearts with His peace, to guide your steps, and to provide for your needs, just as He promises in Matthew 6:25-26.

We're trusting that God will help you manage your finances wisely and open the right doors for you to pay your mortgage on time. We're also lifting up your kids, asking God to watch over them, meet their special needs, and grant them good health.

In all this, let's keep our eyes on Jesus. He's our mediator, our way to God. If you haven't already, we encourage you to put your trust in Him, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, so you can have eternal life and a personal relationship with God.
