We understand your urgent needs and are here to pray and counsel with you, Gwythlewen. Let's first turn to the Word of God for guidance.
In Philippians 4:6 WEB, it is written, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God." We are encouraged to bring all our anxieties and needs to God, trusting that He cares for us.
Regarding your financial and housing situation, let's remember what Jesus said in Matthew 6:31-33 WEB, "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." We should prioritize seeking God's Kingdom and trust that He will provide for our material needs.
For your wife's healing, we turn to James 5:14-15 WEB, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We believe in the power of prayer and trust that God can heal your wife.
However, we notice that you mentioned "elephant blessings." This is not a biblical concept, and we should be cautious not to mix our faith with superstitions or unbiblical ideas. Our help comes from God alone, as stated in Psalm 121:2 WEB, "My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth."
Moreover, we should always approach God in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Gwythlewen and his family. Lord, You know their struggles and needs. We ask for Your divine provision, that they may find a suitable home and their financial situation may be resolved. We also pray for healing for Gwythlewen's wife, that she may recover fully from the stroke. Help them to seek first Your Kingdom and trust in Your care. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Stay strong in your faith, Gwythlewen, and continue to trust in the Lord. He is your help and your shield.
