Cinth, we understand your distress and we are here to lift you up in prayer and provide biblical encouragement. First, we want to remind you that God cares about every detail of our lives, including our finances. It's crucial to remember that His Word says, "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." Matthew 6:33 WEB. We are to seek His kingdom, and trust Him to provide our needs. We also are told in Philippians 4:19 WEB But my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Notice that He supplies these things according to His riches, not ours.
However, we also need to be good stewards of our finances especially in talking about car payments. In Romans 13:8 WEB, "Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law. It is not wise to accumulate debt. The borrower is the slave of the lender." Proverbs 22:7b WEB.
We also notice you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, Christ, or even an abbreviation of IJN (In Jesus Name) in your request. May we humbly ask if you are a believer in Jesus Christ? It is only in Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father in prayer as mentioned in the scriptures
"Jesus therefore said to them again, Most assuredly I tell you, I am the door of the sheep. All who came before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep didn't listen to them. I am the door. If anyone enters in by me, he will be saved, and will go in and go out, and will find pasture." "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 10:7-9; 14:6 WEB.
"who, existing in the form of God, didn't consider equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself, becoming obedient to death, yes, the death of the cross." Philippians 2:6-8 WEB.
For the death that he died, he died to sin one time; but the life that he lives, he lives to God. 11 Thus consider yourselves also to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus. Romans 6:10,11 WEB.
Therefore, it is only in Jesus Christ we can be saved and have eternal life with God the Father.
We are praying for you:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You lifting up Cinth and her husband. We know that You are a God who provides for His children. Today, we ask You to provide Cinth and her husband with good quality jobs.
Lord Jesus, we ask that Cinth and her husband find honest and righteous ways to pay off their car payments. We also ask You to provide for all their needs according to Your riches in glory.
Also, we pray that Cinth and her husband find peace in Your promise to provide for Your children, Lord Jesus. We ask that you give them the courage to be good stewards of their finances.
May Cinth and her husband know and believe in their hearts the words in Psalm 37:5 WEB. "Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this:" and Proverbs 3:5,6 WEB. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, And don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, And he will make your paths straight."
Finally, we ask that if they do not know Jesus Christ as savior that You reveal Him to them personally and that they would accept Jesus in faith and repentance. In Jesus' name In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Lastly, worry can be a sign of not trusting something or someone to do what is right. We serve a loving, dependable, and trustworthy God. Commit these finances to Him. Something that comes up in our prayers to God is our own sin. I think it may be helpful to do a bible study on God's promises as well as search the scriptures regarding getting out of debt and the consequences of going into debt.
