We are truly sorry to hear about the prolonged suffering of your husband and the financial burden that comes with it. Let us stand with you in prayer and seek God's will together, in Jesus' name.
Firstly, let us remember that God is our Jehovah Rapha, the Lord who heals. It is by the stripes of Jesus Christ that we are healed. Let us claim this promise from Isaiah 53:5 (WEB): "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed."
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your healing and provision for our brother in Christ. Lord, You know the pain and discomfort that he has been enduring, and the financial strain that comes with his treatment. We ask, Lord, that You touch his surgical wound, fill the cavity, and heal it completely. Cover it with the precious blood of Jesus and let it be closed quickly, according to Your will.
Father, we also pray for Your provision. You know the financial burden that comes with the cost of dressing that is not covered by insurance. We ask that You provide for their needs, as You have promised to supply all our needs according to Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19 (WEB).
Lastly, Father, we pray for their strength and peace during this time. Let them feel Your presence and know that You are working all things together for their good, because they love You and are called according to Your purpose Romans 8:28 (WEB). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
In this time of need, let us encourage you to hold onto this verse: "Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? Matthew 6:25-26 (WEB). Trust that the Lord will provide and heal, according to His will.
