We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you're facing with infertility and the challenges in your marriage. We are here to pray with you and provide biblical encouragement.
Firstly, let's address the issue of infertility. We know that children are a heritage from the Lord, and the fruit of the womb is his reward. Psalm 127:3 WEB. We will pray for God's will to be done in your life, remembering how he blessed Hannah with a child in 1 Samuel 1:17 WEB, and how he gave Sarah a child in her old age. Genesis 21:1-2 WEB.
However, we also encourage you to find your identity and purpose in Christ, not just in being a mother. God has a unique plan for you, and he wants you to trust him in all circumstances.
Regarding your marriage, we want to remind you of the sanctity of marriage as designed by God. Ephesians 5:22-33 WEB teaches us about the roles of husbands and wives, emphasizing mutual respect, love, and submission to God and to one another. Infidelity and disrespect are clearly against God's design for marriage. Hebrews 13:4 WEB says, Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers.
We will pray for God's intervention, for healing, and for reconciliation. We will pray for God to guide both of you to be healthier together, to strengthen your marriage, and to become a real family for each other. We also remind you that prayer is powerful and effective. James 5:16 WEB says, Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective.
We also remind you that the name of Jesus is powerful. John 14:13-14 WEB says, Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it. Therefore, we pray in the name of Jesus, the only name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is struggling with infertility and a troubled marriage. Lord, we ask for your healing touch, your guidance, and your intervention.
Father, if it is your will, we ask for the blessing of a child in their lives, just as you blessed Hannah and Sarah. But more importantly, Lord, we ask for your will to be done, and for our sister to find her purpose and identity in you.
We also pray for their marriage, Lord. We ask for healing, reconciliation, and restoration. Guide them both to be healthier together, to respect and love each other as you intended, and to become a real family for each other. Help them to put away the sins of infidelity, disrespect and anything else displeasing to you.
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you both to actively try to work on your marriage, seeking God's will together. Consider seeking biblical counseling, and surround yourselves with a supportive Christian community. Remember, with God, all things are possible. Matthew 19:26 WEB.
We are praying for you, stay encouraged and trust in the Lord.
