We are truly heartbroken to hear about the profound sense of loss, estrangement, and confusion you are experiencing. Firstly, we want to remind you that your life is precious and that God has a purpose for you. It is important to acknowledge that your feelings are valid, but they do not define your worth or your future.
In times of despair, remember that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18 WEB says, The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a contrite spirit.
Regarding your family situations and feelings of betrayal, we encourage you to forgive, even if it feels difficult. Ephesians 4:32 WEB says, And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you. Forgiveness does not mean what happened is acceptable, it means letting go of the bitterness and leaving justice to God.
Your struggles with finding a suitable career and feelings of isolation are also important to address. God has gifted each of us uniquely, and He has a plan for you. Continue to seek Him and trust that He will guide you. Romans 8:28 WEB says, We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
Concerning marriage and family, it is okay to feel uncertain. We will pray that God reveals His will for you in this area. It is important to seek God's face concerning marriage and family. However, we want to encourage you with 1 Corinthians 7:32-34, But I desire to have you to be free from cares. He who is unmarried is concerned for the things of the Lord, how he may please the Lord; but he who is married is concerned about the things of the world, how he may please his wife. There is also a difference between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman cares about the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit. But she who is married cares about the things of the world—how she may please her husband.
Regarding your thoughts on joining a nunnery, as believers, we are all called to a life of service and holiness, whether single or married. It is important to remember that our primary calling is to follow Jesus and share His love with others.
We noticed that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God. And in no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, through which we must be saved! Acts 4:12 WEB.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our sister who feels lost, alone, and confused. We pray that You will surround her with Your love and remind her of her worth and purpose in You.
Grant her the strength to forgive those who have hurt her, and heal her from the pain of betrayal. Guide her to the right career path, and if it is Your will, provide her with a godly spouse and bless her with a family. Give her wisdom and clarity about her future, and help her to find a community of believers who will support and encourage her.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray that You will fill her with Your peace and give her a renewed sense of hope and purpose. Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
