Feeling trapped

I'm needing prayers for wisdom and release from a binding contract with landlord. I share vestibule with another tenant who has been here for years and years. Well the Landlord showed me the place, there was a ton of construction tools and paint crowding the vestibule and he said he would have this tenant move it all and that he was just finding a place for it. So I took his word for it. Anyway the backyard was loaded with junk and cement blocks and alot of stuff. The place had not been cleaned at all from prior tenants and doors broken etc. So I move in and nothing was done at all to this day since a year ago. The tenant still has vestibule crowded with his construction supplies, boards, paint and car parts etc and he uses it all the time. I ended up paying someone to move junk from backyard and clean up. The landlord knew this the whole time and used us to cover all these charges so he wouldn't have to. I asked about breaking lease twice and he keeps making up charges that are not in the contract and it's going to cost me a fortune to move so I feel trapped. Yes I read the Bible, yes I pray, yes I have a relationship with Jesus I know him. I need help praying about this situation and what I can do. I discern this is happening to me and my kids because I'm single mother and he is taking advantage and if I stay, he will drain me of everything I have. I don't have use of vestibule and have to leave thru garage because tenant has taken up the whole vestibule. I'm paying rent for a part of house I don't or can't use. I've talked to the landlord about this but he keeps denying and interrupting me. He even came by and tried sexually harassing me putting his hands on me and constantly asking me out when he is married. I'm so shocked and disgusted by this man and regret this disaster. He knows I don't have the money to break lease and move again. My backyard privacy is gone too because a new neighbor moved in and put cameras pointing directly into our yard and he is very creepy guy. I know when we are gone the tenant who I share vestibule with and the landlord come into our space and I find things missing like my files. When I ask the tenant if anyone came in here and that I am missing files folder he says he has no idea. When I leave and return the files folder is back where it was. So they knew. When I had already been here a few months, my medicine that dr prescribed was taken. Me and my daughters turned place upside down looking for them and they are very expensive. I never found them to this day. Now my son's medical ID cards are missing. When I leave my home I see cars parked around on curb and they drive off. I need prayers to leave here. Pray for a miracle. No person, heathen or believer or anyone expects this when looking for place to live. If I leave, the landlord is wanting to me do extensive clean up that I'm not responsible for so he can be free from the obligation so i now see he never fixed anything because he was looking for someone he could scam to take it on. In this case we were it. Now I cannot go into my own yard, use my front door and when we moved in last year, the gas service couldn't be turned on because it needed inspection because it had been so long that it had been on and we were without heat and hot water for 20 days in freezing weather. The landlord knew that about the gas and failed to tell us. Im now realizing this. Prayers please. Pray for God's mercy on me and kids.

We condemn his actions, including the sexual harassment, which is clearly against biblical principles. As it is written in Ephesians 5:3 WEB: "But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints."

We encourage ### to seek godly counsel and legal advice to understand her rights and options regarding the lease. It is clear that the landlord is trying to exploit her financially, and she should not be held responsible for repairs and cleaning that were not her responsibility. In Proverbs 28:5 WEB, we read: "Evil men don't understand justice; but those who seek Yahweh understand it fully."

Regarding the invasion of privacy, we advise ### to take practical steps to protect herself and her children, such as contacting local law enforcement about the neighbor's cameras and the suspicious activities around her home. In Psalm 91:11 WEB, we read: "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ### and her children. We pray for Your divine intervention in their living situation, that You would provide a way out of this unjust contract and deliver them from the exploitation they are facing. We rebuke the landlord's harassing behavior and pray that You would convict his heart and bring him to repentance. We ask that You would surround ### and her children with Your protection, guarding them from those who seek to harm them.

Lord, we pray for Your provision, that You would open doors for ### to find a suitable and safe home for her family. We ask that You would give her wisdom and discernment in handling this situation, and that You would raise up godly counselors to support and guide her.

We also pray for ###'s faith, that she would continue to trust in You and Your promises, even in the midst of these trials. We ask that You would strengthen her and give her peace, knowing that You are fighting her battles.
