Let us first address your feelings of humiliation and discouragement. We are reminded in Romans 8:28, All things work together for good to them who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Even this situation can be turned around for good. Remember that your value is not determined by your mistakes, but by the love and grace of Jesus Christ. It is in His name that you prayed, and it is in His name that we find our true worth.

The action of your colleague was indeed unkind. We are encouraged in Ephesians 4:32, Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.

Concerning your work situation, we pray that God will guide you to a place where you can use your talents to serve Him and others, and where you can find joy and provision.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister in Christ, ###. Lord, we pray that You would heal her from the hurt and embarrassment she feels due to the actions of her colleague. Help her to forgive and to remember that her value comes from You alone.

We ask that You guide her to the right job, where she can use her talents to serve You and others, and where she will find joy and fair compensation. Give her peace and patience as she waits on Your perfect timing.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
