Humble Prayer Warrior
Feeling stressed about my unemployment and unpaid bills. I went to the post office and signed for my certified mail. Sure enough, it was our mortgage company serving a 30 day legal notice. I'm tired of waiting and wondering where I'm going to work. I've applied for several decent trucking jobs and have yet to find a local job ose to home. I do have a great opportunity that starts 6/11, but what am I supposed to do between now and then? I've never had such a hard time finding a good trucking job. At times I hate the trucking industry. I'm not at peace right now. I can fell the stress in my chest and I'm tired of feeling like a failure. I have a good clean driving record and would just love to get back to work so it feels like I'm fulfilling my duty of providing for my family. Unanswered prayers is about what I'm used to these days.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother RobertH who is feeling overwhelmed by stress and anxiety due to his unemployment and unpaid bills. Lord, You know the burden he carries and the weight of the legal notice from the mortgage company. We ask for Your divine intervention and provision during this challenging time.

Father, Your Word in Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." We pray that RobertH experiences this peace that surpasses all understanding, calming his heart and mind.

Lord, we ask for Your guidance and favor as he continues to seek employment. Open doors for him that no man can shut, and lead him to the right job that will allow him to provide for his family. We trust in Your promise from Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

We also pray for strength and perseverance for RobertH as he waits for the opportunity that starts on 6/11. Help him to trust in Your timing and to find comfort in Your presence. Remind him that he is not a failure, but a beloved child of God, and that You are with him every step of the way.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

I am praying for your spirit to be full with joy because of the goodness of our God. In the Name of Jesus Christ breakthrough is coming on your way. Amen.

I’m sorry about your situation, Robert. I just said a prayer for you. May the Lord work mightily in your circumstances, lead you to the job He has chosen for you, provide for your family’s needs in a special way and show you His best plan as you trust in Him regarding your future. I hope you’ll be encouraged by this thought from the psalmist: “The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles” (Psalm 34:17).
