Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you on behalf of our anonymous friend who is feeling scared and afraid to go back to sleep due to the fear of having nightmares. Lord, we ask for your divine protection and comfort to surround them in this moment. Your Word assures us that you are our refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble . We pray that you would calm their anxious thoughts and grant them peace that surpasses all understanding .
Father, we ask that you would guard their mind and thoughts as they rest. Your Word reminds us to cast all our anxieties on you because you care for us . We pray that you would replace their fears with your perfect love, for perfect love casts out all fear . Lord, we ask that you would grant them restful sleep, free from any nightmares or disturbing dreams.
We also pray, Lord, that you would keep them from evil and protect them from any harm or danger. Your Word teaches us to pray, "Deliver us from evil" . We ask for your divine intervention and guidance, that you would lead them away from any path that may cause them harm.
In the name of Jesus, we declare your authority over every fear and nightmare. Your Word assures us that if we ask anything according to your will, you hear us and grant our requests . We trust in your faithfulness and believe that you will answer this prayer according to your perfect will.
Thank you, Lord, for your love, protection, and peace that surpasses all understanding. We commit our anonymous friend into your loving care, knowing that you are always with them. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
