We understand that you're feeling overwhelmed and anxious, especially about your financial situation. First, we want to remind you of what Jesus said in Matthew 6:25-34 (WEB), "Therefore, I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? ... Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' ... For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You lifting up our dear friend who is feeling overwhelmed and anxious about their financial situation. Lord, You know their needs and we trust that You will provide for them, just as You promised in Your Word. We ask for Your divine intervention in their financial situation, that You would open doors of opportunity and bless them with the ability to pay their bills on time. We also pray for understanding and mercy from their energy and council regarding their late payments. Lord, comfort their heart and help them to cast all their anxieties on You, knowing that You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Guide them through this difficult time and help them to seek Your Kingdom first, trusting that You will provide for all their needs. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. If you haven't already, put your trust in Him, and He will be your strength and comfort in times of trouble.
Now, we encourage you to share your burdens with your friend, as it's not good to be alone in difficult situations. Proverbs 17:17 (WEB) says, "A friend loves at all times; and a brother is born for adversity." It's essential to communicate openly and honestly with them about your situation. Also, consider seeking help from local charities or financial advisors who can provide practical assistance and guidance.
Lastly, don't forget to address the issue with your house. Pray for wisdom and the means to have it fixed. Trust that God will provide for all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).
