We understand that you're feeling low and disconnected from God, Nyryall. It's important to remember that God is always near, even when it feels like He's far away. The Psalmist expressed similar feelings in Psalm 42:5 (WEB), "Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him for the saving help of his presence."
In times like these, it's crucial to draw near to God, even if it feels difficult. James 4:8 (WEB) tells us, "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you." This can be through prayer, reading Scripture, or fellowship with other believers. Remember, the enemy often attacks our minds and emotions, trying to make us feel distant from God. But the truth is, if you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, the Holy Spirit lives within you and you are never truly disconnected from God.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We lift up Nyryall to you. Lord, we know that you are near to the brokenhearted and that you save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18, WEB). We pray that Nyryall will feel your presence, that the Holy Spirit will comfort and strengthen them. Help Nyryall to draw near to you, Lord, to cast their burdens on you because you care for them (1 Peter 5:7, WEB). Remind them of your unfailing love and faithfulness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Nyryall, if you haven't already, we encourage you to bring your feelings of depression to the Lord. Psalm 142:2 (WEB) tells us, "I pour out my complaint before him. I tell him my troubles." God is always listening and He cares about every aspect of your life. Also, if you're not already connected with a Christian community, we strongly encourage you to find a Bible-believing church. The fellowship and support of other believers can be a tremendous help in times like these.
Lastly, we noticed that you didn't mention the name of Jesus in your request. It's important to remember that it's only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. John 14:6 (WEB) tells us, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If you haven't already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ. It's only through Him that we can be saved and have a personal relationship with God.
