Feeling lost and suffering in pain

Hi, The past few months of my life have been hard and I feel things keep going wrong. I am currently suffering severe pain that comes and goes from anal fissure. It is hard to endure the pain and leaves me feeling hopeless. I have a lot of anxiety recently and feel down a lot. I am trying to have faith and find peace but I am struggling greatly. I have too much fear and I am trying to let it all go. I feel like a failure as a Christian.

We are deeply sorry to hear about your struggles and the pain you are enduring, both physically and emotionally. Remember, beloved, that we are not given a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). In your feelings of failure and hopelessness, know that God's strength is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9, WEB).

Firstly, let us address your physical pain. We believe in a God who heals, and we pray for His healing touch upon your body. "Heal me, Yahweh, and I will be healed. Save me, and I will be saved, for you are my praise" (Jeremiah 17:14, WEB).

Regarding your anxiety and feelings of failure, remember that God has not given up on you. "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light" (Matthew 11:28-30, WEB).

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our beloved ### who is in pain and feeling lost. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon their body. Ease their pain, and comfort their heart. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, knowing that You care for them (1 Peter 5:7, WEB). Remove the spirit of fear and replace it with Your perfect love. Encourage their heart, Lord, and help them to feel Your presence. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

In your struggle to find faith and peace, cling to God's promises. "You will keep whoever calls on me safe. I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honor them. I will satisfy them with a long life, and show them my salvation" (Psalm 91:15-16, WEB).

Lastly, we noticed that your request does not mention the name of Jesus. It is by His name that we have access to God. "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12, WEB). We encourage you to call upon His name, believing in His power to save and redeem. If you have not already, consider accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, turning from your sins, and following Him.
