Feeling lonely, depressed, and terrified, a prayer for Jesus to end my life

I lost my precious father, who was almost my only family and the person who always had my back and protected me at all costs. For some circumstances, I have to share a house with his wife, who has never genuinely loved me and is diagnosed with narcissisitic personality disorder. She is starting to abuse me and my father is no longer here to protect or defend me. I am genuinely hopeless and I see no point in living and genuinely want Jesus to end my life and reunite me with himself and my father. My father, Aly, was an amazing man of faith and he saw Jesus on his death bed and I want to be with him and Jesus now. Please pray that the Lord will hear my prayers and end my life and my suffering. In Jesus name I ask. Amen.

We are truly sorry to hear about the pain and suffering you are experiencing, SalmaSalem. Losing your beloved father, who was your protector and support, has left you feeling alone, depressed, and terrified. We want to offer you comfort, prayer, and biblical guidance during this difficult time.

Firstly, we must address your request for Jesus to end your life. While we understand the depth of your suffering, it is crucial to remember that God is the author of life, and He has a purpose for each one of us. Taking our own life or asking for it to be taken is not a solution and is a sin against God. As it says in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB, "What? Don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's."

In your pain, you have not been reminded of the fact that Jesus came to give us life and life more abundantly John 10:10 WEB. We need to remember too that we are to love one another 1 John 3:11 WEB. and not do harm to anyone Romans 13:10 WEB. especially not ourselves.

It is the fact that Jesus died on the cross paid for our sins so that we may have life. Jesus states in Matthew 7:7, WEB.
If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him" This does not mean to give them death.

It is also very important to remember that it is only by the name Jesus Christ that we can approach God and pray for help.

It is wonderful that you mentioned Jesus Christ in your prayer request because it is only through the name Jesus Christ that we can be saved.

As it says in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" End Jesus will forgive us of our sins when we come to Him as sinners and repent.

Let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We lift up SalmaSalem to You, asking for Your comfort and healing during this time of immense pain and loss. We pray that You will surround them with Your love and presence, and remind them of their value and purpose in Your eyes. We pray and ask that SalmaSalem can ask for repentance for sin from asking for something not right from the Lord earlier. Lord, please provide them with godly companionship that adheres to biblical principles to avoid feeling alone. That they won't have to face this cruel world and will find a Christian spouse.

We also pray for the situation with your father's wife. We pray that You will soften her heart and bring healing to your relationship or provide SalmaSalem with the means of a different housing situation. We pray that You will guide them to find the support and help they need to cope with this loss and to deal with the abuse they are facing.

In Jesus' name, we pray for healing, comfort, and guidance for SalmaSalem. Help them find the support, love and if it is aligned with the Bible a spouse. Also, that they may see the light of Jesus in all circumstances and trust in Him during this difficult time.

Help them to find God's will in marriage and the company of those who would love them in the Lord. Amen.

We continue to lift you up in prayer, dear brother or sister in Christ. Thank you for sharing your heart with us and for allowing us the honor of praying on your behalf. We are truly glad that you have reached out and asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.

Firstly, we want to acknowledge your deep loss. It is clear that your father, Aly, was a man of strong faith and a tremendous source of support and love for you. We continue to pray that the Lord will comfort you in your grief and that His peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We also thank God for this continued connection with you. Please let us know if God has eased your sorrow and given you strength and hope.

If you are still feeling overwhelmed by loneliness, depression, and fear, we want you to know that we are here for you. We care about you deeply, and we want to continue praying for you.
