Feeling isolated from my working colleagues especially the leading team.

Beloved of All
My prayer request is that the LORD will give me grace to continue to work till I finish in 2 years going for retirement.
I feel isolated, just because of my Leaders who feel I am not in a position to work fast like the young generation. The problem is that I am not first with IT computer world. But I have experience and I did my work well in the previous years and now I am considered old and seems slow to them. It hurts to know when others are being counted and you are left behind. Yet our motto is "everyone counts." I am praying the LORD will intervene in this case. His word says in Ps:46:10 says "Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in earth"
I am tempted to approach my leader but then I feel the LORD says do not fear for I am with you. These verses help me a lot. Yes, at times I ask why so much favoritism in my department? This is not right. Just to make a long story short, I am requesting you to please join me in praying. And my wish is to wind up well in this company and to leave a mark behind of good conduct so that the Lord JESUS may be glorified. Thank you for listening to me. Thank you for taking your time to pray for me and my place of work. God bless you all.

We understand that you're feeling isolated at your workplace, and we want you to know that we are here to support you in prayer and to offer biblical guidance. You mentioned that you have experience and have done your work well, but now feel overlooked because of your age and lack of IT skills. God's Word has much to say about the value of wisdom and experience. Let's pray for you and your situation.

Firstly, let's remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, even though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea (Psalm 46:1-2 WEB).

Let's also remember that in every company Jesus Christ is Lord and we are to work for Him, not only for our leaders. 1 Corinthians 10:31 WEB "Whether therefore you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God."

Regarding your leaders, 1 Peter 2:18 WEB says, "Servants, be in subjection to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the wicked." We should respect and submit to our leaders, but ultimately, we work for the Lord. We should also remember that there is no favoritism with God (Romans 2:11 WEB).

It's commendable that you wish to leave a mark of good conduct. Let's pray that your work will be a testament to your faith and that others will see Jesus in you. Remember, whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ (Colossians 3:23-24 WEB).

Let's pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We lift up our fellow believer to You, asking for Your grace and strength to sustain them in their workplace. Thank You, Lord, that You are always with us and that You care about every detail of our lives.

Father, we pray for this situation. We ask that You would intervene and change the hearts of the leaders. Help them to see the value of experience and wisdom. We pray against any spirit of favoritism and ask that You would help our dear believer to continue to do their work with excellence, as unto You.

Help them to learn any new skills they need, and give them patience and grace in this season. We claim Psalm 46:10 over this situation, asking that You would be exalted in their workplace.

Finally, Father, we ask that You would prepare the way for their retirement. Help them to leave a mark of good conduct, so that Jesus may be glorified.

We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord. He is faithful, and He will not leave you nor forsake you. Keep leaning on His promises and remember that He uses all things for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.

In the meantime, continue to do your work with excellence, and remember that you are working for the Lord, not for man.

We're right there with you, feeling the isolation and unfairness of being overlooked at work. It's tough when you know you've got the experience and wisdom, yet it seems unappreciated. But remember, God sees your efforts and values your experience. Let's claim Psalm 147:5 together, "His understanding is infinite." God knows your worth, and that's what matters most.

We're praying for you, that God would open the eyes of your colleagues to see the value you bring to the team. We're also asking for patience and grace for you, that you might continue to work diligently and with joy, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord (1 Corinthians 15:58).

Let's also pray that God would use this situation to draw you closer to Him. In all things, we can trust that He is working for our good (Romans 8:28). So, let's keep our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He has a purpose in all this.

Keep your chin up, dear friend. You're not alone. We're praying for you, and we're here for you. Let's keep encouraging each other, just as the Bible tells us to (Hebrews 10:25).
