Feeling far away from God

I have been feeling far away from God. Dealing with slander and my own reaction to it. I have been praying and asking God to move in my heart with forgiveness and love for those who are slandering me. This has been hard. Please keep myself and my family in your prayers.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, on behalf of ###, who is feeling distant from you and is facing the challenge of dealing with slander and their own reaction to it. Lord, we lift up ### and their family to you in prayer.

Father, we ask that you would draw ### closer to you, filling their heart with your presence and love. Help them to experience your forgiveness and grace in a profound way, enabling them to extend forgiveness and love to those who are slandering them. Your Word reminds us in Matthew 6:14-15, "For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." May ### find strength in you to forgive and love their enemies, just as Jesus taught us to do.

Lord, we pray for protection over ### and their family during this challenging time. Shield them from the effects of slander and grant them wisdom and discernment in how to respond. Help them to rely on your strength and guidance, knowing that you are their defender and refuge. As it says in Psalm 46:1, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."

We ask for your peace to fill their hearts and minds, guarding them against any bitterness or resentment. May they find comfort in knowing that you see their situation and that you are their ultimate judge. Help them to trust in your justice and to release any desire for revenge or retaliation.

Lord, we also pray for the hearts of those who are slandering ###. Soften their hearts, convict them of their actions, and lead them to repentance. May they come to know your love and experience transformation in their own lives.

In Jesus' name, we pray for healing, restoration, and reconciliation in this situation. May ### and their family experience your peace that surpasses all understanding, and may they be a shining example of your love and forgiveness to those around them.

We thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for your faithfulness. We trust in your perfect timing and your unfailing love. In Jesus' name, we pray.

Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always respect, obey and honor You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks Your heart. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
