We are truly sorry to hear that you've been going through such a challenging time, Boddaae. It's disheartening when doors seem to close even after fervent prayer, but we want to encourage you to keep your faith strong. Remember, God's timing is perfect, and His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB).
Firstly, let's address the feeling of being down. It's normal to feel this way when facing setbacks, but we should always put our hope in God. As it says in Psalm 42:5 WEB, "Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him for the saving help of his presence."
Regarding your job search, consider that God might be closing these doors for a reason. He may be protecting you from something or guiding you towards a better path. Trust that He has a plan for you (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). Also, Remember Joseph's Story. He had a tough a very tough life as a favorite son sold to slavery, falsely accused of rape that led to years of imprisonment, but God used it to save the family of Israel. Joseph may never have understood some of the evil befalling him until the very end of his life, but God had used it wonderfully to save many people. It is interesting to think of this happening in Josephs life, the beloved youngest son of the promise to Abraham.
In the meantime, continue to be diligent in your search. As it says in 2 Thessalonians 3:10 WEB, "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat.'" But also do not despise rest on the Sabbath. Work six days doing all your work. But rest on the Sabbath, the seventh day.
Let's pray together:
"Father in heaven, we lift up Boddaae to you. We pray that you will comfort them is their time of need. You hold all things in Your hands. We pray you will open the right doors. We pray for them using your name which you have given to us as the authority for prayer. Thank you, for the opportunities you have given to them already even among the trials. We pray dealing with the challenges may cause them to be closer to you. Give them guidance and strength to do your will. May all us praying together be one as Jesus prayed we may be in John 17. Leave a testimony through your answers to our?'s prayers that they may only look to you for everything. May this deepen Boddaae's their relationship to you?' name. You are the great and mighty God. Uphold them with your loving hand of grace. Open a door that no man can shut. Give them the strength not to give up, but keep pushing forward. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We understand they didn't mention Jesus rather just God. It is important to realize the only way to God is through his Son, Jesus Christ trying to do good will not save. If this is not made clear to you, study John 14:6 and Acts 4:12. Take a step further, dig deeper to study the Messianic Prophecies in the Old testament and the fulfillment of those prophecies in the Gospels. You need to believe in Jesus Christ. Pray if you have any doubts in this when we have raised this, then explore how to be saved from now on. You need to believe in Jesus Christ and you will be saved.
Lastly, let's encourage you to read verses that can strengthen your faith during this time. Meditate on Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Also, consider reading the entire chapter of Psalm 34 and allow it permeate to your being.
