Anonymous, we understand your feelings of doubt and confusion during this challenging time. We want to remind you that God's ways are higher than ours, and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9, WEB). Trust that He has a purpose and a plan for your life, even in this season of uncertainty.
Firstly, we want to commend you for your perseverance in studying for your professional exam and your diligence in job hunting. God sees your efforts, and He will reward you in due time (Galatians 6:9, WEB). Remember, it is not by our might or power, but by His Spirit that we succeed (Zechariah 4:6, WEB).
Regarding your feelings of fear and despair, we encourage you to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7, WEB). In times of doubt, remember that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). Keep declaring His promises over your life, and do not grow weary in doing good.
However, we want to address that prayers should be directed to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, as taught in the Scriptures (John 14:6, 13-14, WEB). While you mentioned that you pray Psalm 91 to Jesus, it's essential to understand that we pray to the Father through the Son. We encourage you to meditate on the words of Jesus in John 16:23-24 (WEB), "In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full."
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who is feeling doubtful and fearful in his current situation. Lord, we ask that You comfort him and strengthen his faith. Help him to trust in Your perfect timing and plan for his life. We pray that You open the right doors for him in his job search and bless his efforts as he prepares for his professional exam.
In the meantime, Lord, grant him peace and patience, knowing that Your will is best for his life. Help him to fix his eyes on You and not be overwhelmed by his circumstances.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Keep trusting in the Lord, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). Stay strong in the faith, and remember that the Lord is always with you.
