Feeling Depressed.

I recently had a baby and I’m having horrible stomach pains and every doctor tells me I’m okay. It’s making me extremely anxious and depressed. I need prayers to help me mentally and physically recover so I can be there for my family. It’s getting hard for me to want to get out of bed. Please

First, we want to acknowledge your pain and discomfort. The Bible tells us to cast all our anxieties on Him, because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).

We must remember that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19 WEB), and it's important to take care of ourselves physically and spiritually. Doctors may not have all the answers, but we pray that God will guide you to the right care.

As for the feelings of depression and anxiety, we want to encourage you with the words of Psalm 34:17-18 (WEB): "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." God is near to you in this difficult time, and He hears your cries.

No healing or prayers can be accomplished without Him. We ask that You would surround her with Your healing presence, both physically and emotionally. Give her the strength to get out of bed each day and care for her family. Guide her to the right doctors and the right care for her physical pain. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
