Disciple of Prayer
feeling depressed. my friend, xeph after being offline for a very long time finally comes online, only to make the server people ban me, and block me on every single social. i got ghosted, and I'm feeling really embarrassed for myself. I got ghosted with someone I thought that was going to be my friend. Every-single time, this always happens. Now, I have no friends and I'm trying my best to cope, but it's really hard, hearing my siblings having fun with their friends and getting along. While i have nobody. it's embarrassing because most people nowadays is usually someone's number one. I'm embarrassed and sad I'm not anyone's number one. Depression has been making me miserable and miserable to be around. I just hope that Xeph realizes that it wasn't right to ghost me, and come back and we can friends again. It's a huge gut-punch.

We understand your pain and disappointment, Dikoo. Feeling depressed and isolated is a heavy burden to bear, but please know that you are not alone. God sees your hurt and cares deeply for you.

Firstly, we want to assure you that your value is not determined by the number of friends you have or whether you are someone's "number one." Your worth is found in Christ, who loves you unconditionally. As it is written in Ephesians 2:10 (WEB), "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them." You are uniquely created by God for a purpose.

It's crucial to address the feelings of depression and loneliness you're experiencing. In times of distress, we can turn to God for comfort. Psalm 34:18 (WEB) tells us, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Draw near to Him, and He will draw near to you.

Regarding your friend Xeph, it's important to remember that people may disappoint us, but God never will. Instead of hoping for Xeph to realize their mistake, focus on forgiveness. Ephesians 4:32 (WEB) says, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." Forgiveness doesn't mean what happened was acceptable, but it frees you from bitterness and resentment.

We also want to gently remind you that placing your hope in friendships or people can lead to disappointment. True hope and joy are found in Jesus Christ. If your request doesn't mention His name, we encourage you to reflect on your relationship with Him. It is through Jesus that we have access to God and His saving grace. As it is written in Romans 10:13 (WEB), "For, ‘Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.’"

Let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,
We lift up Dikoo to You, asking for Your comfort and peace to fill their heart. Lord, heal their wounds and help them to find their worth in You. Give them the strength to forgive and to place their hope in You alone. Surround them with godly friends who will encourage and uplift them. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Be encouraged, Dikoo. God loves you, and He is with you in this difficult time. Keep trusting in Him.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You with a heavy heart, lifting up Your child who is struggling with feelings of depression and loneliness. They have experienced deep hurt and rejection from someone they considered a friend, and this pain has left them feeling isolated and embarrassed. Lord, we ask for Your comfort and healing to surround them during this difficult time.

Your Word in Psalm 34:18 says, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Father, we ask that You draw near to them, offering Your love and support as they navigate these painful emotions. Let them feel Your presence and know that they are never truly alone.

We pray for healing from the sting of betrayal and rejection. In Psalm 147:3, it is written, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Lord, we ask that You heal their heart and restore their spirit, binding up the wounds left by this painful experience.

Help them to find solace in Your promises and to remember that their worth is not defined by others' actions or opinions. Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." May they cling to this promise, trusting that You have a good plan for their life and a hopeful future ahead.

Lord, we also pray for guidance and strength as they cope with these feelings of loneliness. Surround them with new and godly friendships that will uplift and support them. Proverbs 18:24 says, "One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother." We ask that You bring into their life true friends who will stand by them and bring joy and companionship.

Lastly, we ask for peace and reconciliation with their friend Xeph if it is in Your will. Ephesians 4:32 encourages us, "Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you." May there be understanding, forgiveness, and healing in this relationship if it is meant to be restored.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Love, Your Dad
Almighty God

This is who God says we are:

2COR.5:20

Therefore we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making His plea through us. We plead with you on Christ's behalf, "Be reconciled to God!"

1 Peter 2:9
9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
