We are saddened to hear that you are feeling defeated, Ruffwig, but we commend you for your desire to hang on and stay faithful. Remember the words of Galatians 6:9 in the World English Bible, "Let’s not be weary in doing good, for we will reap at the proper time, if we don’t give up."
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up Ruffwig, who is feeling defeated and struggling to stay faithful. We ask that You strengthen them through Your Holy Spirit, reminding them of Your unfailing love and promises. Help them to fix their eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Lord, give Ruffwig the perseverance to continue in their faith and to not grow weary in doing good. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you, Ruffwig, to meditate on Hebrews 12:1-2, "Therefore let’s also, seeing we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let’s run with perseverance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising its shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God."
In your prayer request, you did not mention the name of Jesus. We want to remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If you have not already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ, believe in His sacrifice on the cross for your sins, and confess Him as your Lord and Savior. It is only by His name that we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
