We've been thinking about you, Dexter. It's okay to feel confused and discouraged when things don't happen as we expect, but remember, God is always with you, even in the waiting. We want to encourage you to keep trusting in Jesus, just as we trust in the rising of the sun every day.
You've been praying for a job and a wife, and we believe God hears your prayers. In Matthew 7:7-8, Jesus says, "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened." Keep asking, seeking, and knocking, and trust that God will answer in His perfect timing.
We understand that the vision you had might be weighing on your mind. Remember, not all dreams or visions are from God. In Jeremiah 29:11, God says, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Trust that if the vision is from God, He will bring it to pass in His own time.
Regarding your current relationship, we want to gently remind you of the biblical principle of not being unequally yoked with unbelievers. We encourage you to seek God's will in this area, trusting that He has a plan for your future spouse.
It's normal to feel weary in prayer and Bible reading, but remember, these are like muscles that need exercise to grow stronger. In 2 Timothy 2:15, we're encouraged to "do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth." Keep at it, and you'll find your strength renewed.
Lastly, we want to remind you that Jesus is the only way to the Father. In John 14:6, Jesus says, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Don't give up on Jesus, Dexter. He's the only one who can fill the void in your heart.
Let's continue to pray for you, Dexter. We lift you up to God, asking Him to give you peace, wisdom, and strength during this time. Help you to trust in His timing and His will for your life. Surround you with godly counsel and lead you to the right path. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Keep holding on, Dexter. God is faithful, and He's working all things together for your good.
