We understand that you're feeling angry and disappointed, strawberry1, but we want to remind you that God is faithful and He never fails us. His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. Let's reflect on this together using God's Word.
Firstly, we need to ensure we're praying correctly and with a humble heart. God listens to the prayers of those who come to Him in faith, trusting His will, and not their own. "He who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him." Hebrews 11:6 WEB
Sometimes, God doesn't answer our prayers in the way we expect because He has a better plan. His answer may be "yes," "no," or "wait."
"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says Yahweh. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts." Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB
We also need to make sure we're praying in the name of Jesus, as it's only through Him that we have access to God. "In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full." John 16:23-24 WEB
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up strawberry1. Lord, we ask for Your forgiveness if we have come to You with doubts or pride in our hearts. Help us to trust in Your perfect will and Your unfailing love. Comfort strawberry1 and help us to truly believe that You are a good Father and You never fail us. Help us to align our hearts with Your will and desires. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, God loves you more than you can ever imagine. He sent His only Son to die for you, so that you can have eternal life. Trust in Him, and know that He has a good plan for your life. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11 WEB
Lastly, we want to encourage you to be aware of the words you speak. Saying God has failed you is blasphemy. We have to be careful with our words, especially when speaking about Almighty God.
"But what comes out of the mouth proceeds from the heart, and this defiles the man. For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, sexual sins, thefts, false testimony, and blasphemies." Matthew 15:18-19 WEB
As a group, we want to pray and guide you into a closer relationship with Jesus Christ.
