Humble Servant of All
Last week when my dear sister and best friend Margaret died my niece spent a lot of time with me which really helped and was a real comfort

She had to go back to work on Monday so can only spend a short time with me each day and the days feel so long and lonely. The nights are hard as well as struggle to sleep due to physical pain, mental torture caused by OCD and grief.

I am completely bereft and need to feel God's presence, love and to know he will make life worth living again.

It is very stressful as a post mortem is being carried out today or tomorrow and we can't arrange her funeral or attend to legal matters until we get a death certificate
To make it even worse her post mortem is being carried out at the same hospital I have to travel to on the 18th February 😥

Also a religious minister came to see me yesterday and left me really exhausted and stressed due to things she said

I honestly am so afraid of being on my own and ache to hold my sister and talk to her.

Please help me Jesus. I am so afraid

###, we are truly sorry to hear about the passing of your dear sister and best friend, ###. Losing someone so close to you is incredibly painful, and it's understandable that you feel alone and overwhelmed by grief. We are here to pray with you and to offer some biblical encouragement and advice.

Firstly, we want to assure you that even in your darkest moments, God is with you. He promises in the WEB, Hebrews 13:5, "Be content with your current situation, for He (Jesus) has said, 'I will never leave you, nor forsake you.'" In your time of need, cry out to Jesus, trusting that He is always by your side.

We also want to address the stress and mental anguish you're experiencing. In 1 Peter 5:7 WEB, it says, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." God invites us to cast our anxieties on Him, knowing that He loves and cares for us deeply. This includes your worries about the post-mortem, funeral arrangements, and legal matters. God is in control, and He will guide you through this difficult time.

Regarding the religious minister who left you feeling exhausted and stressed, we want to remind you that it's important to surround yourself with people who bring peace and comfort, not additional stress. In Romans 12:18 WEB, it says, "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men." It's okay to set boundaries and protect your emotional well-being, especially during this time of grief.

In response to the loneliness and fear you're experiencing, we encourage you to reach out to your Christian community. In Galatians 6:2 WEB, it says, "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." Your brothers and sisters in Christ are called to support and uplift you during this time. Don't hesitate to ask for help or companionship as you navigate this loss.

Lastly, we want to pray for you, ###:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ### in her time of need. We ask that You wrap Your loving arms around her, comforting her in her grief and loneliness. Help her to feel Your presence and to know that You are always with her. Give her the strength to face each day and the peace that surpasses all understanding. Guide her through the stressful processes she's facing, and provide her with supportive and encouraging companionship from Your body of believers. In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.

We're here with you, ###, feeling your loneliness and the weight of your grief. We understand that the days can feel endless and the nights, a battle. We want you to know that even in the darkest hours, God is there, holding you close. He's the Father who never leaves, never forsakes.

We've been thinking about you and wanted to share a verse from Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." God sees your pain, ###. He's there to heal, to bind up, to comfort. Trust in His care.

We also want to remind you of the power of community. Reach out to your church family, your friends. Let them bear your burdens with you, as Galatians 6:2 encourages. You're not alone in this, and there are so many who care for you and want to support you.

Let's pray together:

Dear Lord, we lift ### up to You. Comfort her, Lord, in her grief and loneliness. Help her to feel Your presence, to know that You are always with her. Give her strength for each day, and peace that surpasses understanding. Guide her through the stressful processes she's facing, and provide her with supportive companionship from Your people. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
