We are truly sorry to hear that you are feeling this way, but we are here to lift you up in prayer and offer some biblical encouragement. Firstly, let us address the feeling of failure and inadequacy. In John 10:10 from the World English Bible (WEB) Jesus said "The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly."
Remember, feelings of failure and worthlessness are not from God, but the enemy tries to use this tactic to keep us in bondage. We need to make sure we are believing in Jesus Christ and that we have the Holy Spirit within us to guide, encourage, and comfort us.
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up this dear soul who is feeling overwhelmed and inadequate. Lord, You know the plans You have for each one of us, plans to prosper us and not to harm us, plans to give us hope and a future. We pray that You would remind our friend of Your unfailing love and faithfulness. Help them to see their worth through Your eyes, and not the lens of the enemy. Grant them the strength and wisdom to overcome these feelings of failure. Guide them to Your Word, and give them a renewed sense of purpose and direction."
"We pray for courage to continue and persevere through difficult times. Help us to walk in the spirit rather than the flesh and have a strong faith to continue to stand. Help us to do more than just try, but to endure to the end keeping our faith. Help us to seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
In Romans 8:28 the WEB it says, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Remember, God has a purpose for you, and He is working all things together for your good. Don't give up; keep pressing forward.
It's also important to remember that our worth is not determined by our successes or failures. Our worth is found in Christ. Ephesians 2:10 in the WEB says, "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them."
Finally, if you have not already, make sure to confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead and you will be saved. Romans 10:9 in the WEB states, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." Romans 10:13 in the WEB.
The best way to contact God and pray is through the name of Jesus Christ. Jesus said in John 14:13-14 in the WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." Consider the words of Jesus and make sure to pray by the name of Jesus from this point forward.
