We are truly sorry to hear that you are feeling this way, but we are grateful that you have reached out for prayer. First, we want to address the feeling of disappointment and failure that you are experiencing. Remember, God's word says in Zephaniah 3:17, WEB: "Yahweh your God is in the middle of you, a mighty one who will save. He will rejoice over you with joy. He will calm you in his love. He will rejoice over you with singing." God does not see you as a disappointment or an annoyance. He loves you deeply and rejoices over you with singing.
It's important to understand that our worth is not defined by our failures or the expectations that others place on us. Instead, our worth is found in Christ Jesus.
Regarding the hurtful words spoken to you, we encourage you to forgive, even as God has forgiven you. Ephesians 4:32, WEB says, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."
In this difficult time, we encourage you to cast your burdens on the Lord.
Remember that it is not God's will for you to carry burdens that are not your own to carry. 1 Peter 5:7, WEB: "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We lift up our fellow believer to you, asking for your comfort and guidance in this difficult time. Lord, remind them of their worth in you, and help them to see themselves as you see them. Help them to forgive those who have hurt them, and to cast their burdens on you. Fill them with your peace, and guide them through this dark place. Lord Jesus, we believe that you are the way the truth and the life and that nobody can come to the Father but by you. We thank you Jesus that you came to the earth, lived a sinless life, and then gave your life to die on a cross to pay for our sins. Then, on the third day you rose again. You are the source of life and salvation. We thank you for saving us.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to seek godly counsel and support from fellow believers.
