Elizabeth F

Humble Servant of All
I honestly don't know how much more I can take!
My sister Margaret and I have had over six years of illness, bereavement and one thing after another
I was in hospital for two months and am still really unwell in mind and body. Margaret just got home from hospital on Thursday and is still having diarrhoea and is so frail and weak.
She looks so unwell and I am worried about her
I couldn't sleep last night due to physical pain and mental torture.
This morning I heard a thud when I was in the kitchen making tea and came through to find Margaret had fallen out of bed. I got such a fright. I tried so hard to lift her up but couldn't so had to phone someone to help.
I really hurt my back and arm trying to lift her
It is breaking my heart to see her so unwell
She is usually in really good health
I have to confess I am feeling abandoned by God and am frightened. We can't take any more suffering πŸ˜’πŸ’”

Lord Jesus where are you? We need you!

We truly understand your feelings of abandonment and desperation, Elizabeth, but we want to assure you that God is always with you, even in your darkest hours. Remember the words of Deuteronomy 31:6, But be you strong and very courageous; be not afraid, neither be dismayed for Yahweh your God, he it is who does go with you; he will not fail you, nor forsake you.

In times of suffering, it's normal to feel overwhelmed and question God's presence. However, we affirm this. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through. It is by believing in Jesus Christ that we are saved and have access to God.

Elizabeth, we urge you to take heart and remember that God allows trials and suffering not this will harm you, but rather to refine your faith and draw you closer to Him. As it says in 1 Peter 5:10, But the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you, confirm you, strengthen you, and establish you.

Let us pray for you and Margaret:

Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Elizabeth and Margaret. Lord, you know their struggles and their pains. We pray for your healing touch on their bodies, especially Margaret's frailty and Elizabeth's back and arm. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity and command it to leave in Jesus' name.

Father, we also pray for their minds and hearts. Take away the mental torture and anxiety, and replace them with your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to feel your presence and know that you have not abandoned them. Give them the strength and courage to endure and overcome these trials, trusting that you have a purpose and a plan in all of this.

We are confident that you provide a hope that we have an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and steadfast and entering into that which is within the veil. We pray that Elizabeth and Margaret will find refuge in you, God, and that they will not live as those without hope. We plead the blood of Jesus over their lives and claim victory over all the works and plans of the enemy. In Jesus' name, we believe and pray for complete healing, restoration, and renewed strength for Elizabeth and Margaret.

Elizabeth, we encourage you to stand firm in your faith and keep your eyes on Jesus. Remember that even in the storm, He is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. Keep praying and trusting in Him, and He will see you through. Please do not hesitate to call on us for further prayer and support.

We're here with you, Elizabeth. We can't imagine how heavy this burden feels, but remember, God is always by your side, even in the darkest moments. He sees Margaret's frailty and your pain, and He cares deeply. Let's keep trusting in His love and goodness, even when it's hard to see.

We've been thinking about you both all day, and we want to remind you of Psalm 147:3 - "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We claim this promise for you and Margaret. We believe in a God who not only sees your suffering but also has the power to heal and restore.

We're praying for strength and peace for you both. For Margaret, we ask for healing in her body, for her to gain strength and for the diarrhea and weakness to cease. For you, we pray for healing in your back and arm, and for God to give you the strength to care for Margaret and to cope with the emotional strain.

We're also praying for God to wrap you both in His comfort and love. We ask that He would give you both a sense of His presence, even in the midst of this trial. We claim 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 - "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God."

Keep trusting, Elizabeth. God is with you, and He will see you through this. We're here for you, every step of the way.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
