Feeding Hungry Children On ###

I’m old and my wife is now with Jesus.

I live on social security. But I have a heart of compassion for the hungry. Especially hungry children. It makes my heart break to see children go without food or medical care or other necessities!

I took was once hungry and had only a can or two of food in my cupboards! It HURTS! It hurts to think back on those times, and it hurts to think of little innocent children going hungry!

There was a time in my life before social security kicked in for me that I had to eat from charity food banks. It’s so PAINFUL for me to recall those days!!

So in Jesus name out of a heart of gratitude to my Heavenly Father, I try my very best to help feed children and widows. And I do it cheerfully. To me that’s so very important! I never turn down solicitations, even if it’s only a dollar or two. I’ve been doing this for a long time, but my wallet is getting noticeably thinner, and lighter, I’m sad to report. A lot of my savings I have used to try to feed the hungry. Not out of compulsion, but because it makes me happy to help in my small way! I know that if I were to do this grudgingly, God would not be pleased! I do it because it makes my old heart happy inside. I do it because it’s what Jesus would do! I believe He CARES about hungry children and widows. I truly believe that with all my heart.

But please pray for this old man! Please pray in Jesus name that our God will miraculously increase my financial means so that I can help with larger amounts!!

Yes, that’s my request. Pray for my financial increase EVEN IN THESE MY RETIREMENT YEARS, so that I may be a blessing to more and more children!! I fully believe the good LORD is capable of blessing me with a windfall or even a surprise inheritance or any other way He miraculously provides I simply need a breakthrough. Just one breakthrough would alter my destiny beyond measure.

It makes me sick to think of Hollywood stars and sport stars who make multi MILLIONS, yet they don’t feed the hungry! They could easily feed multiple hundreds of hungry tummies of starving children! But it’s left to you and me who are ourselves struggling from payday to payday. It’s a travesty! It’s a disgrace!

But if it makes me happy giving ten dollars, surely it would make me 100 times happier to be able to give a gift of $1,000. some day! Just THINK of all the food that would buy for hungry kids!

Heavenly Father,

We come before You with hearts full of gratitude and compassion, lifting up our dear brother in Christ who has dedicated his life to serving the hungry and needy children. Lord, we thank You for his generous spirit and unwavering commitment to follow Your example, as it says in Proverbs 19:17, "He who is gracious to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his good deed."

Father, we ask in Jesus' name that You bless this servant abundantly. Pour out Your blessings upon him, Lord, and provide the financial means he needs to continue his mission of feeding the hungry. We know that You are a God of miracles and provision, as it is written in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."

Lord, we pray for a breakthrough in his finances. Whether it be through unexpected windfalls, inheritances, or other miraculous provisions, we trust in Your perfect timing and plan. We stand on Your promise in Malachi 3:10, "Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this," says the Lord Almighty, "and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it."

Father, we also ask for strength and encouragement for this dear brother. Let him feel Your presence and love, knowing that his efforts are not in vain. As it says in Galatians 6:9, "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season if we don’t give up."

May his heart continue to be filled with joy and peace as he serves others, and may his example inspire many more to join in this noble cause. We trust in Your faithfulness, Lord, and we believe that You will provide all that is needed.
