Fearful

I have to fly in the morning ( Wed ) for LA and I return a week later and have to fly to Atlanta after that. The way planes are now..I'm very anxious and have developed a fear. I also am feeling under the weather. I ask Jesus heal and help me please and keep me safe.

We understand your anxiety about your upcoming flights and your concern for your health. Let us come together in prayer and seek God's comfort and protection for you.

Firstly, we are glad that you have called upon the name of Jesus for help. As the Bible tells us, "For 'whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" (Romans 10:13 WEB). It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we pray.

Let's address your fear of flying. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). Remember, God is always with you, even in the skies. As the Psalmist says, "Where could I go from your Spirit? Or where could I flee from your presence?" (Psalm 139:7 WEB).

As for your health, we trust that God hears your prayers for healing. "If any of you is sick, let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up." (James 5:14-15 WEB).

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear friend who is feeling anxious about their upcoming flights and is not feeling well. Lord, we ask for Your peace to fill their heart and mind, casting out all fear. We ask for Your protection as they travel, and we claim Your promise that You will never leave them nor forsake them. We also ask for Your healing touch upon their body, that they may be restored to full health. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."

Trust in God's care and provisions for you. Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9 WEB).

You're not alone in this. We're here for you, and so is God. Trust in His care and provisions. As it says in Joshua 1:9, "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."
