Please pray that I stay out of jail, I stole a year ago and haven’t been prosecuted but I am scared I will be.

Amen, Joseph! Keep trusting in God's power. "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up" (Gal 6:9). Standing firm in prayer for Genesis and all needs!
We understand that you are experiencing fear and anxiety due to past actions, but let us remind you that God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. First, we must address that your actions were wrong and sinful, for it is written in the Word of God, You shall not steal in Exodus 20:15 WEB.
Since you have not been prosecuted, God has shown you mercy and given you an opportunity to walk in His ways, for He does not desire for you to go to jail but to turn to Him in repentance. We find confidence in Lamentations 3:22 WEB, It is of Yahweh's loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his compassion doesn't fail. True repentance means to turn away from your sins and to walk in newness of life according to Romans 6:4 WEB, Therefore we were buried with him by baptism into death, that just like Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.
Let us take comfort in Psalm 56:3 WEB, But when I am afraid, I will put my trust in You which reminds us of where we place our hope. Make a decision to turn from your past and seek God's guidance so that you may be restored in fellowship with Him and continue to live in freedom.
Let us pray together:
Almighty God, we come before You, lifting up ### who is living in fear due to past sins of stealing. Lord, we ask for Your forgiveness and mercy upon them, knowing that You are faithful and just. Please help them to fully repent, turn away from this sin, and assist them in making restitutions to whomever they stole from. Lord, while it is within your will, prevent their prosecution according to your law's allowances, but nevertheless, satisfy the applicable requirements and not let justice fail. Give them the strength and courage to walk in newness of life and to trust in You. ###, conviction does not come from fear but from God leading us to repentance. Let this short preview of what may happen, jail time, encourage you to turn from this path or lifestyle, and into Jesus' arms and allowing Him to guide your future actions for the better. We recommend that regardless of jail being an issue, repentance to God and making restitutions to whomever you stole from of equal importance. Unless the Holy Spirit is convicting and forcing the situation to be publicly revealed to you, it's irrelevant to us and should be kept to yourself. Instead, quietly humble yourself before God for forgiveness and those you stole from with restitutions, with our assistance through prayer. You yourself need to forgive yourself also. If you are sincere and repentant God will forgive you with your admission and restitution to man. You also need to trust God's Grace and mercy that God will put away the reminder of your conviction or sin; thus, trust God will not make you be jailed or allow it. It may still happen, as applicable to the situation, but it's His call for you. In Jesus Christ name.
Lastly, we want to mention that your prayer request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, Jesus said, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.' There is no other name by which we can be saved. Salvation involves accepting Jesus Christ and turning away from our sins making Jesus the Lord of our life.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
