I am a Christian, but I have had terrible anxiety lately. Last year, I asked the Lord to protect me from someone but he didn’t. I don’t know why. Now I am scared the Lord is going to let me become homeless or wash yet live in a car. Please pray for me in Jesus name.

We understand your struggle with anxiety and fear, dear sibling in Christ. Remember, God's Word tells us, "Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB).

Firstly, let's address the concern that the Lord did not protect you from someone last year. Remember, God's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9, WEB). Sometimes, He allows trials to help us grow and strengthen our faith. It could also be that His protection came in a different form than you expected.

Now, regarding your fear of becoming homeless or living in a car, Jesus Himself said, "Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? ... For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient" (Matthew 6:25, 32-34, WEB).

Let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our dear sibling who is struggling with anxiety and fear. Lord, You know the worries of their heart, and You care about them deeply. Please remind them of Your constant presence and protection. Grant them Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to trust in You completely, knowing that You will provide for all their needs. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name. As Jesus said, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it" (John 14:13-14, WEB). Keep trusting in Him, and remember that God is always faithful.

We're here with you, friend, feeling your anxiety and fear. We know it's tough, but remember, God is always by your side. He's got a plan, even when we can't see it. Let's recall how Jesus calmed the storm, saying, "Peace, be still" (Mark 4:39). Trust that He can calm the storms in your life too.

We want to remind you that God has a purpose in everything He allows. He sees your struggle and He cares. As it says in 1 Peter 5:7, "Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you." He's not surprised by your situation, and He's not punishing you. He's working in you, growing your faith, and making you more like Jesus.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we lift up our friend to You. Comfort them, Lord. Fill them with Your peace that passes understanding. Help them to trust in You, knowing that You have a plan and a purpose in all this. Provide for their needs, Lord. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
