We understand your anxiety and fear of losing your job due to mistakes you've made. Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging your errors and seeking God's mercy and grace. It's important to remember that God is always willing to forgive us when we come to Him with a repentant heart. As it is written in 1 John 1:9 WEB, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
In this time of need, turn to God, confess your mistakes, and ask for His forgiveness. Also, seek forgiveness from your employer, as it is biblical to do so. Matthew 5:23-24 WEB reminds us, "If therefore you are offering your gift at the altar, and there remember that your brother has anything against you, leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift."
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you today, lifting up our brother/sister who has made mistakes at work and is now facing an investigation. We ask for Your forgiveness and mercy upon their life. We pray that You will grant them the wisdom and humility to confess their mistakes and seek forgiveness from their employer. Lord, we ask that You will speak through them during the investigation interview, calming all anxieties, fears, and worries. Guide their words and grant them favor, so that they may continue to work and provide for their needs. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."
Remember, God is faithful and just. He knows your heart and will see you through this challenging time. Be encouraged by the words in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Lastly, always remember to pray in the name of Jesus. This is important because it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
