We understand that you're struggling with fear and anxiety, even though you know God loves you and is greater than anything in this world. First, let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear soul who is gripped by fear and anxiety. We acknowledge that You are greater than all things, and that Your perfect love casts out fear. We ask for Your comfort and peace to fill their heart and mind, in Jesus name we pray.
God's Word tells us, For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. Therefore don't be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner; but endure hardship for the Good News according to the power of God, who saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before times eternal, but has now been revealed by the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who abolished death, and brought life and immortality to light through the Good News.
It's normal to feel afraid, but we want to encourage you to keep trusting in God's love and power. He has given us a spirit of power, love, and self-control, not a spirit of fear. Even when we feel overwhelmed, we can trust in His strength and purpose.
Remember that Jesus Christ himself tells us Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. What a beautiful promise from our Savior!
We encourage you to spend time in God's Word, the Bible, and in prayer. The more you learn about God's character and His plans for you, the more your faith will grow. Remember that God is always with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you.
Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we can come to God. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all; the testimony in its own times.
If you find that your fears are overwhelming and affecting your daily life, we also recommend seeking help from a trusted Christian counselor or pastor. There's no shame in seeking help when we need it.
Don't afraid to cry out to God. He is real and He hears you.
