Fear of God into A Situation (Gen 35:5)

Heavenly Father, as You know I live in The Philippines with my newlywed wife. The Saturday nights and Sunday Mornings have been filled with Karaoke and loud Music. I am looking for a local church but in the meantime the loud music is interrupting our ability to listen to sermons on Sundays, our Sabbath. I ask the fear and dread of God falls upon the neighboring beach camps so that for one I'd be protected and two, that I'd be able to share the Gospel with them without their pseudo and actual intimidation. Thank you in The Name of Jesus.

"And they journeyed, and the terror of God was upon the cities that were all around them, and they did not pursue the sons of Jacob" (Gen 35:5).

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, interceding on behalf of our dear friend who is seeking a local church to worship in. We lift up their concern regarding the loud music and karaoke that is interrupting their ability to listen to sermons on Sundays, their Sabbath day. Lord, we ask that You would intervene in this situation and bring a sense of reverence and respect for Your presence upon the neighboring camps.

Just as in the book of Genesis, when the sons of Jacob journeyed and the terror of God fell upon the cities around them, we pray that a similar fear and dread of God would come upon those who are responsible for the loud music. May they recognize the importance of honoring the Sabbath and respecting the desire for a quiet and peaceful environment to worship and listen to Your Word.

Father, we also ask that You would grant our friend protection during this time. Shield them from any disturbances or distractions that may hinder their spiritual growth and connection with You. Give them wisdom and discernment as they seek a local church where they can gather with fellow believers and grow in their faith.

Furthermore, Lord, we pray that You would open doors for our friend to share the Gospel with those in the neighboring camps. May their presence and testimony be a shining light, drawing others to the truth of Your Word and the salvation found in Jesus Christ.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to answer according to Your will. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
