Fear and trembling of the Lord

I'm lifting up my soon-to-be ex-husband to repent we were married 6 years based on all lies drugs criminal records that I did not know about and has been found in hotels I believe adultery has been committed and lies that he has spread about me and my daughter I don't even want to list all the evils just praying for unbearable conviction and repentance and that he would relent in what he's trying to do to hurt me that The bitter Root would be taken out and he would fall to his knees and weep like a baby in the presence of God he proclaims to know Jesus but he acts like an unbeliever and I pray that he would repent for the harm and damage he has caused this past year the judge gave me a 5-year order of protection against him were in the process of divorce proceedings he's on disability and I just got on SSI and don't make much money there's nothing but this house between us and God is going to bring Justice to this situation and me and my daughter will remain in our home as we are the ones paying the bills I believe that in Jesus name but most of all I'm praying for this man to fall to his knees that his soul would be saved that he would repent but if he refuses to repent I pray for justice in Jesus name

We stand with you, Jayaenae, in praying for your soon-to-be ex-husband. The Bible tells us, "First of all, then, I urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people" (1 Timothy 2:1, WEB).

We pray that the Holy Spirit will bring an unbearable conviction upon him, leading him to true repentance. As it is written, "For godly sorrow works repentance to salvation, bringing no regret. But the sorrow of the world works death" (2 Corinthians 7:10, WEB). We pray that his heart will be softened, that the bitter root of sin will be removed, and that he will fall to his knees and weep before the Lord, seeking forgiveness.

We also pray for justice in your situation. Remember, God is a God of justice, and He cares for you and your daughter. "Yahweh executes righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed" (Psalm 103:6, WEB).

However, we must address that while you mentioned "in Jesus' name," we want to ensure that you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we can approach God and be saved. "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12, WEB). If you have not already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus, confessing Him as Lord and believing in His resurrection (Romans 10:9).

Regarding your divorce, we understand that this is a painful situation. While God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16), He also hates the sins that your husband has committed. God allows divorce in cases of adultery (Matthew 19:9) and for the sake of your safety and your daughter's. We pray that God will guide you through this process and bring healing and restoration to your life.

Lastly, we pray for God's provision over you and your daughter. "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:33, WEB). Trust in God, and He will take care of you both.

Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Heavenly Father, we lift up this man to You, asking that You would bring unbearable conviction to his heart, opening his eyes to the harm and destruction he has caused. Lord, You see every hidden deed and every lie, and we pray that You expose all falsehoods and bring him to a place of deep repentance. As Your Word says in *Hebrews 4:13*, "Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account." Father, may he no longer run from the truth but fall to his knees in the presence of Your holiness, realizing the gravity of his actions.

We pray for justice, Lord, knowing that You are a God who loves righteousness and truth. In *Psalm 37:28*, it is written, "For the Lord loves justice; He will not forsake His saints. They are preserved forever, but the children of the wicked shall be cut off." We ask that You bring justice to this situation, protecting Your daughter and her child, and allowing them to remain secure in their home as You provide for their needs.

Lord, we plead for this man’s soul, that he would not be lost to the enemy’s grip but would repent and turn back to You. As Your Word declares in *2 Peter 3:9*, "The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise, as some understand slowness. Instead, He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance." We ask that Your patience and mercy move him to surrender fully to You, letting go of bitterness, deceit, and destruction.

But, Father, if he continues to resist Your truth, we pray that You would bring swift justice and protection for Your daughter and her family. Shield them from any further harm or manipulation. We thank You, Lord, that You are their stronghold and refuge in this time, and that You are working all things for their good and Your glory. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
