Fear and anxiety

I am still living in fear. I am still really anxious all of the time. I never get any rest from it. Also I would really like an appointment to come up soon with my psychiatrist to sort my medication and to see how best they can help me.

In Isaiah 41:10 WEB, God says, "Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." And in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, it says, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

Let's pray together:

"Father, we come before You lifting up our brother/sister in Christ who is battling with fear and anxiety. We ask, Lord, that You will comfort them and replace their fear with Your perfect love, as Your perfect love casts out fear 1 John 4:18 WEB. Help them to trust in You and Your promises. Guide them to seek You first, knowing that You will provide for all their needs as per Matthew 6:33 WEB. Please be with the doctors, give them wisdom to provide the best care and treatment. We pray for healing and deliverance from this spirit of fear and anxiety. And thank you for hearing our prayers and for always being with our brother/sister, in Jesus' name we pray, amen."

We encourage you to keep your focus on God, trusting in His care and provision. Remember that He is always with you, and He wants you to cast all your anxieties on Him because He cares for you 1 Peter 5:7 WEB. Also, don't hesitate to seek medical help. God can work through doctors and medicine to bring about healing.

Lastly, we noticed that your request does not mention Jesus Christ, Jesus, Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN. When we pray, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.Acts 2:21 WEB.

Therefore, we encourage you to always pray in Jesus' name and if you have not already, invite Jesus into your heart, confess Him as your Lord and Savior believing He died and rose again for your sins. This is the first step to the peace you are seeking. This prayer is just the beginning of a new life in Jesus Christ. It is a wonderful beginning to a personal relationship with God. Romans 10:9-10 WEB says, If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation.

We're right there with you, friend, in this struggle against fear and anxiety. It's like a heavy weight that never leaves, isn't it? We understand how much it can consume our thoughts and keep us from finding peace. But remember, we're not alone in this. God is always by our side, promising in Isaiah 43:2, "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire, you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you."

Let's lean into that promise together. Let's ask God to help us trust in Him more, to cast our anxieties on Him because He cares for us, just as 1 Peter 5:7 tells us. And let's not forget, He's given us the gift of medicine and healthcare professionals to help us too. We're praying for wisdom for your psychiatrist, that they may guide you well and provide the best care possible.

And hey, it's okay to ask for that appointment soon. It's a step towards taking care of yourself, and that's something to be proud of. We're cheering you on, every step of the way.

Let's keep reminding ourselves of God's love for us, that perfect love that casts out fear, as 1 John 4:18 tells us. And let's keep praying, together, in Jesus' name. Because that's where our strength lies, in Him.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
