Let us pray for you, Balmikos, and for Deon, that God may intervene in this situation and bring peace and understanding among you.
Firstly, we would like to remind you of the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:44 (WEB), "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,". This includes Deon who may be angry with you and Vuyo. Always be willing to forgive others as we have been forgiven in Jesus.
If you have not done anything wrong, then continue to act in love and kindness, as it says in Romans 12:17-19 (WEB), "Don't return evil for evil... If it is possible, as much as it depends on you, be at peace with all men. Don't seek revenge yourselves...rather, give place to God's wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'" but at the same time realize that it is important to examine ourselves to see if there is anything we have done wrong and need to ask forgiveness for.
Let us pray together for God's will in this situation that Deon's anger may be turned away.
Dear Lord, we come before You, lifting up Balmikos, Deon, and Vuyo. We pray that You would soften Deon's heart and remove any anger or bitterness he may be harboring. Help Balmikos and Vuyo to respond in love and kindness, reflecting the character of Jesus. Guide them all towards reconciliation, understanding, and peace. We also pray that if Balmikos or Vuyo has done anything to cause the anger of Deon that they may be convicted and confess, apologize, and ask for forgiveness.
We pray that Deon be willing to forgive if he has been wronged. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus as the bible says in Acts chapter 4 verse 12 (WEB), "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" It is by this name that Jesus was crucified and resurrected from the dead for the sins of humanity.
We pray that if Deon, Vuyo, or Balmikos have never confessed Jesus as Lord and believed that God raised him from the dead, that they may have the opportunity to receive Jesus as Lord. We pray that they may receive the forgiveness of sins and the gift of eternal life. If we have a desire to believe or have forgiveness of sins, here is a simple prayer that can be used, "Lord Jesus, I am a sinner. I need your forgiveness. Please forgive me for my sins. I believe that you died for my sins and that God raised you from the dead. Please be Lord of my life and save me." If you have prayed this prayer, then tell someone who believes in Jesus so that they may help you grow in faith. We pray this in Jesus' name, Amen.
