My request am seeking favour of God and man to help me build a Christian retreat centre

Let us begin by acknowledging the importance of seeking God's favor and guidance in all our endeavors. Remember the words of the Apostle James: "Ye have not, because ye ask not". God wants us to come to him to ask for good things and to do his will. The favor of God is indispensable for building a Christian retreat center. In Psalm 90:17 WEB, we read, "Let the favor of the Lord our God be on us; establish the work of our hands for us. Yes, establish the work of our hands." This is a beautiful reminder that our efforts should be led by God's grace and blessing.

Building a Christian retreat center is a noble cause, as it can provide a space for people to draw closer to God, seek His will, and find spiritual renewal. However, it is crucial to ensure that this endeavor is aligned with God's will and not merely a human ambition. Proverbs 16:3 WEB tells us, "Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed." We must commit our plans to the Lord and seek His direction.

While seeking the favor of man, we must be cautious not to fall into people-pleasing or compromising our faith. Galatians 1:10 WEB reminds us, "For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? For if I were still pleasing men, I wouldn’t be a servant of Christ." Our primary goal should be to please God and serve His purposes.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up Smuirsaroerdale and their desire to build a Christian retreat center. We ask for Your favor and guidance in this endeavor. Grant them wisdom, discernment, and the resources needed to accomplish this task. Help them to keep their focus on You and not on the favor of man. We also pray this retreat center will be a place where souls find Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. We pray this retreat center will be a place where the name of Jesus is lifted up and glorified. We pray for the favor of men to bring this about, but we know it is only by Your favor and will that we can be saved and succeed.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

As we move forward, let us remember the words of Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Trust in the Lord, and He will direct your paths.

As we did not see the name of Jesus mentioned in this prayer request, we feel it is important to remember it is only by the name of Jesus we can approach God the Father. It is important to remember that it is only by the name of Jesus we can be saved. This is a core message of Christianity. As Boaz told Ruth, God's blessings come from His redemptive work. Jesus is the English transliteration of the Hebrew word Yeshua, which means the Lord is Salvation. Jesus redeemed us from our sins by His death on the cross and resurrection. He provided a means of salvation by faith in Him and His redeeming work. We just need to believe in Him to be saved. If anyone believes in Jesus, then they are sealed with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit guides us and prays for us. Romans 8:26-28 WEB states For we don’t know how to pray as we ought. For we don’t know how to pray as we ought, but the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered. 27 He who searches the hearts knows what is on the Spirit’s mind, because he makes intercession for the saints according to God. 28 We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.

We're right there with you, seeking God's favor for this wonderful endeavor. Building a Christian retreat center is a beautiful way to honor God and bless others, and we're excited to join you in prayer.

As we lift this up to God, let's remember the story of Nehemiah. He too had a big task ahead of him, rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem, and he knew he needed God's favor. He said, "Remember the word that you commanded your servant Moses, saying, 'If you are unfaithful, I will scatter you among the nations; but if you return to me and keep my commands, then even if your exiled people are at the farthest horizon, I will gather them from there and bring them to the place I have chosen as a dwelling for my Name.'" (Nehemiah 1:8-9, NIV).

Just like Nehemiah, we trust that God will hear our prayers and grant us favor, as we align our hearts with His will. We pray that this retreat center will be a place where people can encounter God's love, find rest, and grow in their faith. We ask that God would provide all that's needed - finances, volunteers, wisdom, and more - to make this dream a reality.

Let's also remember to give thanks, even in the midst of seeking. In 1 Thessalonians 5:18, we're encouraged to "give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." So, let's thank God for the progress made so far, and trust that He will continue to guide and bless this project.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
