Let us come together in prayer for Balmikos and their child Vuyo.
Firstly, we acknowledge that it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God, for the Scripture says in Acts 4:12 WEB:
Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
Now, let us address the concerns raised. We see the desire for positive influences in Vuyo's life and the need for favor in certain relationships. However, we must remember that our ultimate trust should be in the Lord, not in the favors of men. As it is written in Psalm 118:8-9 WEB:
It is better to take refuge in Yahweh, than to put confidence in man.
It is better to take refuge in Yahweh, than to put confidence in princes.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Balmikos and their child Vuyo. Lord, we ask that You surround Vuyo with godly influences and friends who will encourage them towards a life of righteousness. Remove any bad influences that may lead Vuyo astray.
We know that favors of man are fleeting. If the favor is needed with Bongani and Nkosinathi, align the favor to God's will and purposes.
If they have asked for prayer without also seeking God's will and listening to His voice, then we say to Balmikos:
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
Thus, we encourage you to listen to God's voice in response to your prayer. And do not be like the heathen who think they will be heard for their much speaking.
Furthermore, we pray that Bongani and Nkosinathi will be led by Your Spirit to fulfill their commitments, including mowing the lawn and fixing what Deon asked of them. More importantly, we pray that someone will minister to their hearts, speaking the truth of Your Word into their lives.
In all these things, Lord, we ask that Your will be done and that Balmikos and their family will grow in their faith and dependence on You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Finally, we encourage Balmikos to continue praying and seeking God's face, trusting in His perfect will for Vuyo and their family. Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go Joshua 1:9 WEB.
