We understand your concern, Snairvor, and we are here to pray and offer guidance based on biblical principles.
Firstly, we commend you for seeking God's will in your life and for praying in Jesus' name. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we are saved. As the Bible tells us, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB).
Regarding your relationship, it is clear that there are significant issues that need to be addressed. The repeated postponement of the marriage date and the unhappiness of both your family and yourself are signs that this relationship may not be God's will for your life. God's word tells us, "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB). This verse reminds us that as Christians, we should seek to be in relationships with those who share our faith and values.
Moreover, the Bible teaches us that marriage is a sacred and binding commitment. It is not something to be entered into lightly or with uncertainty. As it is written, "Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh" (Genesis 2:24 WEB). The fact that the man you are in a relationship with has changed the marriage date three times suggests that he may not be fully committed to this union.
We encourage you to seek God's will in this matter through prayer and fasting. Ask Him to reveal to you whether this relationship is His will for your life. As the Bible says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
Remember, God has a plan and a purpose for your life. He wants to give you a future and a hope. As His child, you deserve to be in a relationship that honors God and brings you joy and peace. Do not settle for less than God's best for you.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister Snairvor. Lord, we ask that You reveal to her Your will for her life regarding this relationship. Give her the wisdom and discernment to know whether this man is the spouse You have chosen for her. If he is not, we ask that You give her the strength to walk away and the faith to trust that You have someone better in store for her.
Lord, we also pray for financial freedom for Snairvor. We ask that You open up the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing that she will not have room enough to receive. Help her to be a good steward of the resources You have given her, and guide her in the path of financial wisdom.
Finally, Lord, we pray for Snairvor's future spouse. We ask that You prepare him even now, molding his character and shaping his heart to be a godly husband and father. We pray that You would bring them together in Your perfect timing, and that their marriage would be a testament to Your love and faithfulness.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, Snairvor. God has not forgotten you. He sees your struggles and He cares about your needs. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths.
