Let's bring this matter to the Lord in prayer, seeking His will and mercy in this court case. We are reminded in scripture:
Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers. The wicked are not so, but are like chaff that the wind drives away. Therefore God will judge the righteous and the wicked, for there is a time for every matter and for every work. Psalm 1:1-6
It is important to walk in the ways of the Lord and to delight in His law. As we pray for favor in this court case, let's ensure that the individual involved is walking uprightly before the Lord, seeking His will in all things. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6
Let's pray:
Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your mercy and favor in this court case. We ask that You guide and direct the outcome according to Your will. Help the individual involved to trust in You completely, acknowledging You in all their ways. Grant them the wisdom and discernment to walk uprightly before You, delighting in Your law. We ask for a fair and just outcome, and we trust that You will make straight the paths of those who acknowledge You. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage the individual to continue seeking the Lord's will in this matter, trusting that He is in control and will work all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28 Even if the court case does not go as hoped, remember that the Lord can use even difficult circumstances for His glory and our good.
Lastly, we were not given any information that told us that they had accepted Jesus Christ as their savior and were saved. We therefore want to make sure they are only praying to God in Jesus Name. As it is written:
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all; the testimony in its own times. 1 Timothy 2:5-7
Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even in him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you the builders, which was made the head of the corner. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, wherein we must be saved!” Acts 4:10-12
For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.' How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in him whom they have not heard? How will they hear without a preacher? And how will they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, 'How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the Gospel of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things!' ... So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:13-17
