Let us join together in prayer for marieniu, seeking God's favor and guidance in their housing situation.
Firstly, we would like to remind marieniu of the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. We should always remember He is with us and the only way to a relationship with God the Father. As it is written in John 14:13 WEB "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son." We will cover this request in Jesus' name, as all yet unbelieving have no power over any request by our Father in heaven.
In addressing the housing concern, we should first be thankful for what we do have and Remember: "But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we certainly can't carry anything out. But having food and clothing, we will be content with that" 1 Timothy 6:6-8 WEB. Be sure to not let the cares of this world overtake you. Remember God WILL take care of you. As it says, "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus" Philippians 4:6-7 WEB.
We should always be willing to pay what we owe unless it truly is unjust. So be sure to know market prices, and make fair comparisons considering other possible living expenses with any other housing. In addition you should be willing to serve your landlord. As it says, "Servants, be subject to your masters with all respect; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the wicked. For it is commendable if someone endures pain, suffering unjustly, because of conscience toward God. For what glory is it if, when you sin, you patiently endure beating? But if, when you do well, you patiently endure suffering, this is commendable with God. For to this were you called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving you an example, that you should follow his steps" 1 Peter 2:18-21 WEB. And of course, "Give therefore to everyone what you owe: taxes to whom taxes are due; customs to whom customs; respect to whom respect; honor to whom honor" Romans 13:7. Be sure to show honor to your Landlord and even pray for them.
However, consider this an opportunity to seek God's will and guidance. Perhaps God is using this situation to prompt a move to a more suitable location and possibly start fresh. It may be part of a test of faith "Consider it nothing but joy, my brothers, when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing" James 1:2-4 WEB.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up marieniu and their housing situation. We pray that Your will be done in their life and that You guide them. We pray Your favor over them.
We ask Your guidance to the right housing that You would have for them. Be sure to not allow them to use this as an excuse to not be content but rather help them know You have it all in Your control. Let them be a witness to Your Glory and kingdom and a testimony for You. Open doors for better opportunities while helping them be a witness to their current landlord.
Guard marieniu's heart and mind from anxiety and worry, we purpose to cast our burdens upon You Lord, for Your yoke is easy and Your burden is light. We pray that You will provide the wisdom to take each of the right steps in this situation. We trust Your timetable and we trust Your Word.
Let us always remember to pray in the name of Jesus and acknowledge you in all things.
Help marieniu use this time to examine their life and faith. That this may be a trial now but the outcome will be so wonderful. We know all things best are yet to come.
In the precious name of Your only begotten Jesus Christ. Amen
