Favor, Work Ethic & Establishment on the Job

[Intercessor]

I ask you to agree with my prayers for me to be established on my job. Practically, that I be "early to bed and early to rise," for wisdom, creativity and for a "solid work ethic," especially so we can be good witnesses and spend our minutes, hours and days productively "making the most of the time" (Col 4:5, Eph 5:15-16). I believe we are at a point in history where it is important to pray for believers to have jobs, do well at them and have what used to be called, "A Good" or "Protestant Work Ethic," "so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders and so that you will not be dependent on anybody" (1 Thes 4:12).

May I "Not let kindness and truth leave 'me;' May I bind them around 'my' neck, Write them on the tablet of 'my' heart, so 'I' will find favor and good repute In the sight of God and man" (Prov 3:3-4). May I truly perform well, further the Kingdom financially and be "The Head and not the Tail" (Deut 28) for the sake of God's Covenant and Faith in The Living Father of Jesus, whose "Word does not return void" (Isaiah 55). May God "pour out a blessing that cannot be contained" and "Rebuke the devourer" as He says He will do when we tithe, (Malachi 3:10-11), in Jesus' Name.

I believe Satan wants us to have a "Job", God wants us to have a purpose. Americans spend over 1/3 of their lives on a Job. Not saying to quit your job, but God says he shall supply all our needs according to his riches and glory in Christ Jesus. By grace you have been saved by faith, not of works lest any man should boast. The world system and God's kingdom system differ. He delights in the prosperity of his servants. The world system is sweating 9 to 5 in a secular Babylonian system. The kingdom system is a matter of sowing and reaping. When we sow seed, God multiplies that seed and it creates a great harvest. Faith without works is dead, and the works he is referring to is obedience to God through faith like Abraham did. My prayer is God's will be done, which is always super and best. Much Love =)

Holy God and loving Father, I consciously place my fears, worries, anxieties, and burdens in your hands. I know that I have so little power to change the outcome of these events and I trust that you will work what is pleasing to you, and best for me, out of these situations. Forgive me for my anxious thoughts and for letting my own worry become an idol that robs you of my full trust. Strengthen and empower me to trust you more by the power and presence of your Spirit.
