Favor with God and men

I ask for favor with my coworkers and boss, I need to ask for letters of recommendation. Soften their hearts so they're happy to write them for me, and I am sensing evil spirit at work with my boss and coworkers. No matter how great my work ethic, respectful, kind I am, I can sense it by how unfairly I am treated compared to other people who have bad work ethics. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

Firstly, it's commendable that you ended your request with "In Jesus' name." It's important to remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Now, let's address the issue of favor at work. In Romans 12:18 WEB, it is written: "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men." We should strive to live peaceably with others, including our coworkers. However, we should also remember that true favor comes from God, not man. Proverbs 3:3-4 WEB says: "Let not kindness and truth forsake you. Bind them around your neck. Write them on the tablet of your heart. So you will find favor, and good understanding in the sight of God and man."

Regarding the evil spirit you sense at work, remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of wickedness. Ephesians 6:12 WEB: "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother/sister who is seeking favor with their coworkers and boss. Lord, soften their hearts so that they may write letters of recommendation with joy and not under compulsion. Grant our brother/sister wisdom and discernment in navigating their work environment.

Lord, we also pray against any evil spirits at work. Cast them out and replace them with Your peace and love. Protect our brother/sister from any spiritual attacks and grant them the strength to stand firm in their faith.

Father, we ask that You grant our brother/sister favor in Your sight and in the sight of men. May their work ethic, respect, and kindness be a testament to Your love and grace.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, consider this encouragement from 1 Corinthians 15:58: "Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the Lord's work, because you know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
