Favor with God and men

Please pray for favor and protection with God and men. I have been experiencing unfair treatment and discrimination by my boss and coworkers for the past 2 years. I am not sure if it’s due to my race or just pure evil at work, but my boss has been giving me a hard time. No matter what my work ethic has been, I always come an hour early and leave an hour late. I treat everyone with kindness and respect, but she tends to micromanage and nitpick when she overlooks other coworkers' mistakes or bad work ethic. Please pray for this. I also asked for a letter of recommendation since I need one from my direct supervisor, but I am afraid she won’t be fair. Please pray for this and that they value my hard work and work ethic, in Jesus' name I pray, amen.

Further, we pray for your request that your boss will write you a fair letter of recommendation. God says, 'Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you.' Matthew 7:7 WeB.

Please pray on how to discuss this situation with your boss in a wise, respectful, and biblical manner. We must follow the biblical guidance of going to someone who has wronged us and make them aware of their transgressions. 'If your brother sins against you, go, show him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained back your brother.' Matthew 18:15 WeB. We must help others understand the wrongs they have committed in a respectful way and help them turn away from their errors.

We also pray that God will provide you with opportunities for advancement and that He will open doors for you to use your gifts and abilities in a more positive and supportive environment.

We encourage you to continue to live with integrity and to trust God in this situation. The Bible reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.

We are also reminded to be patient in our sufferings, "Be still in the presence of Yahweh, and wait patiently for him to act. Don’t be concerned about those who prosper in their way; about the people who make wicked plans" Psalm 37:7 WEB.

"Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be shaken" Psalm 55:22 WEB.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
