We understand your concern for your children's employment and marriage. Let's bring your requests before the Lord, while also ensuring we align our prayers with His will and biblical principles.
Firstly, we must acknowledge that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God, and it is in this name we pray to God the Father. The scripture tells us to approach the throne of God with confidence in Jesus' name, "Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for timely help." We have this access "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 5.6 who gave himself as a ransom for all; the testimony in its own times,"
Let us pray for your children's employment, trusting that God's will be done. "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God." We pray that your children will find jobs where they can use their education and talents to serve God and others. "Remember that the Lord your God gives you the power to produce wealth,". It is God who provides us with opportunities to use our skills and earn a living.
Regarding marriage, we pray that God will guide your children in finding godly spouses according to His perfect will. "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?". We pray that God will reverse any spirit of delay that is not part of His will and that He will grant the desires of their hearts and yours if they are trusting in Him. "May he grant you your heart's desire, and fulfill your whole counsel."
However, we must also remember that God's timing is perfect, and His ways are higher than our ways. "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says Yahweh. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts."
Lastly, we encourage you and your children to continue trusting in God and seeking His will. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Let us pray, in Jesus' name.
