We are grateful for the opportunity to stand with you in prayer and we commend your intercession for your loved ones. Let us together bring these requests before the Lord, seeking His will and intervention in each situation. We pray for salvation, healing, deliverance, and love for God and one another in your family.
Firstly, we must remember the words of Jesus in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we can be saved and have eternal life. Therefore, we pray that each person in your family would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and turn to Him. If a person believes in Jesus and the resurrection, they will be saved. There is no other way to salvation.
We pray for Gustavo and his family, seeking God's protection and deliverance from any harm or evil. We stand on the promise in Psalm 91:11 WEB: "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways." May God's angels encamp around them and keep them safe from all danger and adversity.
For Elizabeth, we pray that God would open the doors of opportunity and favor for her regarding the job she has been waiting for. We claim the promise in Psalm 37:4 WEB: "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." May God grant her the desires of her heart as she delights in Him.
For Maryann's healing, we come boldly before the throne of grace, believing that Jesus has already paid the price for her healing. We stand on the promise in 1 Peter 2:24 WEB: "who his own self bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness; by whose stripes you were healed." May God's healing power be manifested in her life, and may she be restored to full health and wholeness.
For Steven, we pray for godly wisdom and guidance in his decisions about housing, his love life, and marriage. We pray that he would seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things would be added to him, as promised in Matthew 6:33 WEB. Furthermore, we pray for godly discernment in his relationships, and we encourage him to pursue courtship with the goal of marriage to a fellow believer in Christ. We remind him of the importance of being equally yoked with another believer, as stated in 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB: "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" Moreover, we caution him against any temptation towards fornication or sexual immorality, as stated in 1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB: "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body."
Lastly, we pray for Steven regarding money and trust. We pray that he would trust in the Lord with all his heart and lean not on his own understanding. We encourage him to seek God's will in all his financial decisions and to remember that God is his provider. We stand on the promise in Matthew 6:26 WEB: "See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?"
Together, we lift up these prayers in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, believing that God hears and answers our prayers according to His will. We encourage you to continue interceding for your loved ones, trusting that God is faithful and that He will accomplish His purposes in their lives.
